Strategy, content calendar, community and reporting: we tie social media to business results, not post counts.

In many companies, social media management shrinks to a weekly post count. The real work is deciding why the brand is there at all, producing content that speaks each platform’s language, answering comments and messages on time, and measuring what all of it does for sales, demand or hiring. We set up and run social media as one operation that handles those four parts together.

With more than twenty years in media, sales and P&L leadership, we know content rarely delivers on its own; it works alongside ad spend, the sales team and customer service. From Istanbul, we manage Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and X accounts under a single plan for brands in Türkiye, the UK and Uzbekistan, and we route incoming messages into the CRM and to the people who sell.

  • 01Companies that post regularly but see no effect on the business.
  • 02B2B firms and executives who need to reach decision-makers on LinkedIn.
  • 03Retail and service brands struggling to turn Instagram and TikTok messages into sales.
  • 04Businesses losing goodwill because comments and complaints get answered too late.
  • 05Brands running influencer work without contracts, measurement or a clear process.
  • 06Companies that want a consistent social presence in the UK or Uzbekistan as well as Türkiye.

What does social media management cover, and what should you expect from an agency?

Social media management is ongoing work made up of strategy, content production, publishing, community management and reporting. Expecting nothing more than good-looking visuals from an agency means focusing on the most visible and least decisive part of the job. What decides the outcome is clarity about what the brand wants from each platform and choosing content to match. On LinkedIn the aim might be meeting requests, on Instagram store visits or direct messages, and on YouTube a searchable library that shows how the product is used.

There are three things you should expect from us: a written strategy and brand voice guide, a content calendar you can see in advance and sign off, and a monthly report that shows leads, site traffic and sales impact alongside reach and engagement. We also agree in writing who answers comments and messages, how quickly and in what tone. Without that framework, social media turns into a posting schedule that nobody really owns.

How should content differ across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and X?

Uploading the same asset to five platforms in the same way is the most common mistake. On Instagram, Reels drive discovery, carousels carry information people save and come back to, and Stories keep daily contact with loyal followers. TikTok wants vertical video that hooks in the first second, speaks through sound and trends, and feels candid rather than polished. LinkedIn management works far better through executives’ personal profiles than the company page; opinion pieces, document posts and sharp industry observations travel further there.

YouTube plays two roles, through long videos that answer search questions and through Shorts; long-form content keeps getting watched for years. X needs quick reactions for live conversation, customer service and industry discussion. So we plan content production from a single idea, then cut it separately for each platform with its own edit, copy, aspect ratio and length. That way one shoot day can become a week of content across several platforms without repeating itself.

How are community management and influencer collaborations run?

Community management is more than answering comments and messages in order. We start by sorting incoming messages by type: sales question, support request, complaint, job enquiry, spam. For each type we agree a response-time target for working hours and out of hours, ready-made but personalisable reply templates, and who it gets escalated to. Sales enquiries land in the CRM as records, while comments with crisis potential go straight to a named person. Once a month we pass the most frequent questions back to your product and content teams.

With influencers, we look past follower counts to whether the audience is genuinely your target customer, how past collaborations went and whether the comments feel real. The brief, deadlines, usage rights, content approval and payment terms go into a written agreement. We insist on proper ad labelling in line with the Turkish Advertising Board’s influencer guidelines and the ASA rules in the UK. Each collaboration gets its own link and code so the outcome can actually be measured.

How do you measure social media success, and what are the most common mistakes?

Followers, reach and engagement show that content is circulating, not that it is working. We tie our reports to business metrics: site sessions and conversions from social, quotes and sales that start in a direct message, meeting requests from LinkedIn, and shifts in branded search during campaign periods. To do that we set up UTM conventions, Meta and TikTok measurement and the flow of messages into the CRM from the start. That turns the question of which content drives sales into a matter of data, not debate. Every line of the report maps to a concrete change in next month’s plan.

The mistakes we see most often are posting identical content everywhere, letting the calendar stall while it waits for approval, replying to messages a day late, running organic content and paid media as separate worlds, and making decisions on likes alone. The signs of a healthy setup are just as clear: a consistent brand voice, messages that reach the right person on time, and reports that actually change next month’s decisions.

A team that understands selling

With over twenty years in media, sales and P&L, we plan content alongside your sales team, customer service and ad budget. The goal is contribution to the business, not a number of posts.

Messages do not get lost

We build and run Rocketly CRM ourselves, so we know exactly how Instagram messages, comments and WhatsApp conversations can be gathered in one inbox and connected to sales.

Content made for each platform

We never copy one idea across five platforms; each gets its own edit, copy, ratio and length. A single shoot day yields a week of content that does not repeat itself.

Reports that drive decisions

Our monthly report is not a pile of screenshots but a short decision note on what to stop and what to double down on. Each month’s plan comes out of the previous month’s data.

01

Audit and objectives

We review your current accounts, competitors’ tone, what people actually message you about and what sales needs, then set one primary goal per platform.

02

Strategy and content pillars

We write a playbook covering brand voice, content pillars, visual framework, posting rhythm and how to handle sensitive topics before they come up.

03

Calendar, production and publishing

We bring you a monthly calendar for sign-off, produce each piece in the right platform format, publish it, and handle comments and messages within agreed response times.

04

Measurement and adjustment

Each month we look past reach to leads, site traffic and sales, drop the formats that are not working and move effort and budget to the ones that are.

Social media management is priced as a monthly service, and scope drives the quote. The deciding factors are the number of platforms, the monthly volume and format of content, whether video shoots are needed, whether community management covers out-of-hours, how many languages we work in, influencer management and reporting depth. Ad spend and influencer fees sit outside our fee and are planned separately. After a first conversation we send an itemised proposal.

Let’s talk about this

A social media agency decides which platforms the brand should be on, for what purpose and in what voice, then builds the content calendar, produces and publishes content, manages comments and messages and reports on results. On top of that, we connect incoming messages to your CRM and sales team and build reports around leads and sales, not just reach.

The right number depends on the platform, the industry and how much you can produce well. Fewer, consistent, good pieces always beat a high volume of average ones. We start at a rhythm that keeps quality high, then increase it or change formats based on the data. Daily touchpoints such as Stories and community replies are planned separately.

Instagram is visual and video-led; Reels, carousels and Stories each serve a different purpose, and direct messages are a major route to sales. LinkedIn runs on text, opinion and expertise, and executives’ personal profiles usually outperform the company page. So we set separate content pillars, tone and success measures for each platform.

Response-time targets are agreed in writing at the start, by message type: sales questions and complaints come first, general comments are handled within a wider window. Out-of-hours and weekend cover are spelled out in the agreement too. If something carries crisis potential, we alert the named contact at once and reply within the agreed framework.

We handle strategy, copy, design and editing. When a product, location or team shoot is needed, we plan the shoot day so it feeds several platforms at once. Where work calls for AI-generated video or visuals, we bring in our creative production service. From you we need brand knowledge, approvals and, when needed, expert input.

Yes. In Türkiye, the Advertising Board’s guidelines for social media influencers require paid or otherwise rewarded posts to be clearly marked as advertising, and the ASA applies a similar rule in the UK. We write labelling obligations into every agreement and check content before it goes live. That avoids both regulatory risk and a loss of trust.

We add UTM tags to links, set up Meta and TikTok measurement and log message-driven enquiries in the CRM with their source. That lets us track social site visits, form fills, quotes and sales separately. Impact that cannot be measured directly we read through changes in branded search and comparisons between campaign periods.

Organic content and paid media should come from the same plan, so we run them in step. Campaign structure, targeting, budget allocation and conversion tracking sit within our performance marketing service. Content that does well organically gets promoted, and what we learn from paid feeds back into the content calendar.

In the first weeks we prepare the account audit, objectives, brand voice guide and first content calendar. Once account access, the approval flow and message routing rules are settled, we start publishing. The first month sets a baseline; meaningful comparisons and format decisions usually become clear in the second and third months.
